Georgina designed the first Accredited Irish Public Sector Coaching Award in Ireland and is also credited with bringing “Emotional Intelligence” into Ireland in 1999. She was the first and is still the only Certified “Purpose” coach and trainer from Imperative.com outside of the United States.
Georgina’s experience, track record, academic grounding and her ethical approach to all her endeavours enable her to work within a wide variety of organisations with success. Examples of organisations who have benefited from Georgina’s vast coaching experience include Teagasc, DFAT, EU Commission, EU agency Frontex, (Poland), OPW, RCSI-Institute of Leadership, Facebook, Abbott Technologies, Global Siemens, Citibank, the European Union and Institutions, the Royal College of Surgeons and all Government Departments.
She has been pioneering programmes for Women in Leadership since the late 1980s which she started in the UK with the Open University and the BBC and continued in Ireland with the W-LEAD, a cross departmental mentoring, leadership and development programme for female Principal Officers in the Public Sector. Georgina worked with the Irish Management Institute as Programme Director for the Diploma in Management (level 9 IMI), she was Leadership Programme Director for many years and successfully ran the most popular programmes, including Core Skills of Management, Newly Appointed Managers Programme, Interviewing Skills, Essential Skills of Management, Graduate Programmes and also led many innovative in-company projects with organisations including Dell, Royal Hibernian, Teagasc and Musgraves.
Throughout her career, Georgina has been unswerving in her CPD and conducts at least 60 hours a year via conferences, training courses, coaching events, live observed coaching sessions, supervision.
